2010 Virtual Photowalk - Simplicity

Just fresh mussels grilled over an open fire - so simple and so wonderful to eat. This is from my chilean friends uncles place up in the moutains in the south of Chile. We bought the mussels from a fisherman in the village below in the morning

Often times the simple things are the best.

I'm looking forward to being in the same group with you going forward. Hope you have a safe journey in Chili - it looks like you are away from the devastation.

Glad you are safe.
Your open fire cooking says you are having a good time
and well fed.

What an inviting fire! That's a good F word too for our A-Z Monday!!

Wow, nice shot, great lighting. Where was the light coming from? What kind of light was it. Nice exposure and the kind of image I'd like to hang on the wall to look at when a 'break' was needed. BTW, we are blogging together this term, so I'll be checking in often. LindaW

The lighting on this is really nice. The scene does capture the essence of simplicity too. I really like your composition on this shot.

thanks for all nice comments! this is a totally natural shot (as 98% of mine are except from cutting) and the light comes from a small window in the wall behind.

Glad you are safe, I hope your friends in Chile are okay too. We have seen the devastation on the news. Horrid. Nice image of the open fire.

I love this shot. It makes me what to be there too. Best shot I have seen to match the theme. Well done.
