Tried some different cropping on the photo of my friends very active dog and I like the first and last. The first is more a portrait and the last show more exactly where the action is. I dont like the middle one since I think it's unbalanced with just one ear. Appeciate comments and suggestions, below is the original. By the way, the dog is an Australian Shepherd. This is such a beautiful dog! I like that you've photographed it against a plain background and used the depth of field to blur it against being a distraction. I agree, the first and last are the best....

What a beauty! I like the first and I also find some appeal to the close-crop shot with just the ball in the pups mouth. I think, however, I would like it better if the eyes were included in the image.
You did such a great job of making her stand out from the background. You have to have those eager eyes in the shot, so much energy in this girl. Put that camera down and throw the ball!
