Beautiful and what a unique scene for all of us Nebraskans...beautiful, as always!
What a picturesque photo, from a land far from Iowa, USA...neat shadow thanks for sharing!
interesting and beautiful image. Is it off the ground due to water at certain times?
A unique scene indeed and a delightful one! Marvelous shadow shot for the day! Hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend, Christina!Sylvia
Beautiful photo, bright sunny day, lovely windmill!
thanks for you comments!Tammie: It is off the ground because it has an axle so that you can turn it around so the wings face the wind. Most of them are just monuments these days but a few are working so you can se the machinery going and it's fascinating! Christina the blogger herself ;-)
I would love to live in a WIndmill. They are such interesting and picturesque buildings. Great shadow shot!
Great shot. I remember the windmills from when I lived in Holland.
This is beautiful, the scenery is gorgeous!SSS-Curved shadow
Wow! What a perfect windmill!
What a striking shot! Nice to know that it is a working windmill. What is old is becoming new again.
Vilken skön bild :)
