Macro Monday

A piece of the ice on top of a water barrel at home yesterday. The leaves was frozen into the ice and the flowers put behind the ice for the composition. Visit Macro Monday!

A deceiving picture: the leaves look so fresh and alive!

Love the look of the flowers behind the ice! What a great composition!!

Ice alreasy? Oh no! But you've made good use of it. The leaves alone would have been a good photo; adding the flowers makes it brilliant.

Beautiful effect in the first photo. Very creative!

I'm with lisaschaos, this would make a beautiful centerpiece. I would want to lay it flat on a large tray and then add a big showy flower where the ice has a bite taken out of it.

I'm glad you caught the macro as well as the originals. Such interesting but short-lived art.
