Mini Assignment # 1 - Cropping


Uncropped you can see the surroundings and realise that this is quite central in Stockholm




Cropped it looks like  way out on the countryside.  Depending on what you will show, cropping can do a lot to the photo. I use cropping quite a lot since I often dont have the time or patience to think of what and how much i want in a photo when it's taken. And, I can straighten it up a bit to.... I think the cropping also adds more details to this lovely little home...it just seems more quaint and takes out all of the distractions! Nice!

For me, the cropping shows not only the house better, but it brings my attention to the beautiful tree on the left side. Nicely done.

I often don't have the right lens to get the crop right in camera, so I also use cropping in post-processing a lot. This is a great example of the power of the crop!

I like the second shot of the crop. It looks like a nice place to go, it it weren't for all the snow. we are really tired of it around here.

The crop really makes the house stand out. It lets you focus solely on the house and not be distracted by all that is around it.
