Pieces of ragrugs woven by old relatives to me

Some of the cloth in them are from clothes I had when I was a child

A wonderful linen tablecloth woven way back by my mothers aunt.

They made it all the way, from groving the linen to this wonderful cloth.

The pattern is enlarged here, in reality it's quite thin.  

My last post with themes for 2010 and by this I finally made all challenges this month (I know.....I put two together here but anyway) I want to thank everybody for all the comments I've got and I think I learned a lot from them. I've also enjoyed visiting, learning and commenting your posts. As a mostly SOOC-girl ;-) Im amazed of all the things you do with your photos and I'm looking forward to follow you in 2011!!

The innocence of nature. I like the clouds, the light shining through and all different patterns on the ice. You can also se the hovercraft on the ice. Bad quality as it's seen through my window. Many of you have seen quite a few photos from my window wiew so it might be boring. This morning it's about -10 C (14 F)

2010 Virtual Photowalk - Man, Tema Fredag

Some of a huge amount of Christmas decorations I have.... and  now I decided to get rid of lots of them. Thee first two shows my thoughts of how Santa feels after his busy days. The last one is a decoration made for a door and who's been in the family since I was a kid. 

Lite från en stor samling juldekorationer, har alldeles för många så nu skall en hel del bort. Hursomhelst, de båda första visar hur jag tror tomten mår efter de hektiska juldagarna. Den sista är en dörrdekoration som har föjt med sedan jag var liten. Besök Tema Fredag för mer av julens färger

2010 Virtual Photowalk - Festive

 Some of the old gingerbread shapes I have, the moon and trees are from my grandmother and the rest I have used since I was a kid. At Christmas I want those so I  have to do my own cookies

the photo is from my new toy, the camera above. As some of you might remember I cannot use any  complicated ones as I sometines have difficulty to concentrate and remember wich makes it impossible for me to remember any complex settings (and is also a reason why I don't use any modification programs). However I learn a lot from all skilled photographers in this challenge. I hereby wish to thank you all for commenting!
