Scenic Sunday, 2010 Virtual Photowalk - Glow, Mini Assignment #4 Silouettes

From my window next to the computer this sunday morning. A few minutes between the shots, a bit cropped and the first one a bit lightened. The sun glows behind the sky. Mini Assignment # 2 - Self Portraits

I'm not comfortable in front of the camera but on my visit to Chile I got in front of it more or less so I thought I might show you.... The first is from the hill Cerro San Cristobal in Santiago overlooking the city (further up is the statue I have already posted HERE). The second one is from the country, the mussle is straight from the fire (posted HERE) and just some lemonjuice is added for extra favour.

Mini Assignment # 1 - Cropping

Uncropped you can see the surroundings and realise that this is quite central in Stockholm

Cropped it looks like  way out on the countryside.  Depending on what you will show, cropping can do a lot to the photo. I use cropping quite a lot since I often dont have the time or patience to think of what and how much i want in a photo when it's taken. And, I can straighten it up a bit to....
